Practical support from someone who understands families, education and the realities of everyday life.
I am Clare Crump — a Parent Support specialist working online with families across the UK. I help parents make sense of what is happening with their child and find practical steps forward.
My background
I have worked in the education sector for many years, teaching, advising, training, mentoring and coaching children, young people, parents and professionals. That experience gives me a deep understanding of how schools work, what they can and cannot provide, and what families need to navigate the system effectively.
I am passionate about making a positive difference to people's lives and helping families move from confusion and overwhelm towards greater understanding and clearer next steps.
I know how difficult it can feel when you know something is not quite right but you are unsure what your child needs or where to start. My role is to help you make sense of what is happening, identify what matters most and develop practical strategies that work for your family.
You will not be handed a generic checklist and left to work it out alone. We work together, review what is happening and adapt the support as your child and family move forward.

Working with families across the UK — online
I work with parents online across the UK. You don't need to travel to me and you don't need to live in Shropshire. My online sessions are personal, practical and interactive — not simply sitting and talking on a video call. You receive personalised guidance, practical strategies and clear next steps relevant to your individual family, from the comfort of your own home.
My approach
Lead with the parent
I start with what you are experiencing and what matters most to your family — not a standard checklist.
Make sense of the bigger picture
I help you understand patterns, triggers and what may be driving the difficulty — so you can respond rather than react.
Practical strategies that fit your family
Everything we work on is specific to your child and your family — not generic advice that doesn't quite fit.
Support between sessions
You are not left to work it out alone between sessions. I provide voice-note support so you can keep moving forward.
A different kind of background
Alongside my work with families, I have competed at the highest levels of equestrianism, including at the Royal International Horse Show, the Horse of the Year Show and the London International Horse Show. That experience has given me a deep understanding of performance under pressure, resilience, mindset and what it takes to keep going when things are difficult.
Those same principles, understanding what is happening, building the right foundations and taking confident next steps, are at the heart of everything I do with families.
