Parent Support — Online Across the UK

When you know something isn't right, you don't have to keep guessing what to do next.

You may be dealing with difficult mornings, anxiety, meltdowns, overwhelm, sleep problems, school avoidance, confidence, friendships or behaviour that seems to come out of nowhere.

You may have spent months wondering: Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Should I be firmer? Should I be more understanding? Why does nothing seem to work for long?

You do not need to wait for a diagnosis before you start understanding what your child needs.

No diagnosis needed. No waiting to start. Online across the UK.

Online Support – Practical Help Wherever You Are

You don't need to live nearby to get personalised support. In this short video, I explain how my online Parent Support works and how we can begin to understand what is happening, identify what is making everyday life difficult and work out what to do next.

Online support is much more than simply sitting and talking on a video call. We focus on your family, the difficulties you are experiencing and practical strategies that can be used in everyday life — with clear next steps and ongoing support to help you put them into practice.

Does this feel familiar?

Your child may:

Become overwhelmed quickly
Struggle with change or transitions
Find mornings difficult
Hold everything together at nursery or school and fall apart at home
Avoid school or certain situations
Become anxious or worried
Struggle to explain how they feel
Have difficulty focusing or organising themselves
Become angry, tearful or withdrawn
Struggle with friendships or confidence

And you may be:

Walking on eggshells
Repeating yourself constantly
Questioning whether you are too strict or too soft
Feeling exhausted
Disagreeing with your partner about how to respond
Worried other people are judging your parenting
Trying one strategy after another
Wondering whether there is something deeper going on

If that sounds familiar, you are not expected to work it all out alone.

From guessing to understanding

When family life becomes difficult, it is easy to focus only on the behaviour you can see.

But behaviour can be communication.

An overwhelmed child may look defiant.

An anxious child may appear controlling.

A child struggling with attention may look as though they are not listening.

A child who has held everything together all day may release everything when they feel safe at home.

Understanding what may be underneath the behaviour changes what you do next.

From reacting to knowing what to do

My role is to help you slow things down and make sense of what is happening.

Together we look at:

  • When difficulties happen
  • What happens before them
  • What your child may be finding difficult
  • What has already been tried
  • What may need changing
  • What needs attention first

Rather than trying to change everything at once, we identify the next practical step.

From overwhelmed to more confident

Imagine feeling clearer about:

  • What your child may need
  • Why certain situations are difficult
  • How to respond when emotions escalate
  • What to change at home
  • What to ask nursery, school or college
  • Which strategies are worth continuing
  • What to stop doing
  • What your next step should be

No family is calm all of the time. The aim is not perfection. The aim is greater understanding, clearer decisions and practical changes that make everyday life more manageable.

The Clare Crump Method™

1

UNDERSTAND

We begin by looking at what is happening now and what may be driving the difficulty.

2

RESET

We identify what needs changing first.

3

BUILD

We introduce practical strategies around your child and your family.

4

PRACTISE

You use them in real life, not just during a coaching session.

5

ACHIEVE

We review what is changing, build on progress and decide what needs attention next.

What working together looks like

Clare on a video call with parents during an online coaching session
1

We start with your family

We look at what is difficult now, what you have already tried and what you would most like to change.

2

We identify the priority

Rather than trying to fix everything, we identify the area that could make the greatest difference first.

3

We create your plan

Your support is personalised around your child, your family and your everyday life.

4

We put it into practice

We introduce practical changes and look at how they work at home, school and in everyday situations.

5

We review progress

We look at what is improving, what still feels difficult and what needs adapting.

6

We build on what is working

As one difficulty becomes more manageable, we decide whether you are ready to move forward independently, need lighter support or would benefit from continuing into another priority.

Personalised Parent Support

This is not about booking one session, receiving some advice and being left to work everything out alone.

My Parent Support is a structured, personalised journey designed around the needs of your family.

Depending on what is appropriate, your support may include:

  • One-to-one parent sessions
  • Child or young person coaching
  • Practical strategies for home
  • Support understanding triggers and patterns
  • Agreed between-session voice-note support
  • Practical resources and tools
  • Progress reviews
  • Guidance around conversations with nursery, school, college or professionals
  • Animal-assisted coaching where appropriate
  • Changes to the plan as your child progresses

You are not buying an hour of advice.

You are being supported to understand what is happening and make practical changes in real life.

What could change?

Every family is different, but the work may help you move towards:

  • Calmer and more manageable mornings
  • Fewer repeated battles
  • Recognising overwhelm earlier
  • Greater confidence in how you respond
  • Stronger parent-child understanding
  • Clearer conversations with school
  • Improved routines
  • A child who feels better understood
  • Knowing what to do next instead of constantly second-guessing yourself
Clare Crump, Parent Support Coach

Why work with me?

I have worked in education for many years, teaching, advising, training, mentoring and coaching children, young people and adults.

That experience allows me to look beyond one behaviour or one difficult moment.

I look at the child, the parent, the environment, the demands around them and what may be happening underneath.

My approach is practical, personalised and focused on everyday change.

I do not diagnose. I do not provide therapy. I help families understand what may be happening, identify what needs attention and put practical support into place.

Post-Assessment Support

You've Got the Report. But What Happens Now?

Perhaps you have spent months — sometimes much longer — waiting for an ADHD, autism or other neurodevelopmental assessment.

Then the report finally arrives.

You may finally have some answers. You may have recommendations. You may even feel relieved that somebody has recognised what you have been seeing.

But a report does not automatically make everyday life easier.

You are still the parent facing the school morning, the overwhelm, the anxiety, the meltdowns, the sleep difficulties, the friendships and the routines.

And you may still be wondering:

What does all of this actually mean for my child — and what do we do now?

Clare Crump working through a coaching framework at her whiteboard

The Assessment Gives You Information. I Help You Turn It Into Everyday Life.

Recommendations in a report can make sense on paper but feel much harder to put into practice at home, at school and within family life.

This is where I can help.

Together, we take the information you have been given and work out:

  • what is creating the greatest difficulty right now
  • what your child may be communicating through their behaviour
  • which recommendations actually matter most for your family
  • what needs to change at home or around school
  • practical strategies you can begin using
  • what to prioritise first instead of trying to change everything at once

The aim is not another pile of information. It is greater understanding, clearer decisions and practical changes that make everyday life feel more manageable.

You May Be Trying to Work Out…

You do not need to tackle all of these at once. We identify what is having the biggest impact, understand what is happening underneath it and create practical next steps around your child and your family.

1

UNDERSTAND

We make sense of what is happening for your child and what may be sitting underneath the difficulties you are seeing.

2

PRIORITISE

We identify what is creating the biggest impact rather than trying every strategy at once.

3

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

We create realistic strategies for home, school and everyday family life, then review and adapt them as your child develops.

This is personalised support. Not a generic checklist and not another report to put in a drawer.

You Don't Have to Work Out the Next Step Alone

If you are tired of guessing, trying different strategies and wondering whether you are doing the right thing, we can have a relaxed conversation about what is happening.

During your Discovery Call we can look at:

  • what is happening now
  • what is causing the greatest difficulty
  • what you would most like to change
  • what support you have already been given
  • whether my support is the right fit for your family

You do not need to have all the answers before you contact me.

You just need to know that something needs to change.
