Equestrian Mindset Coaching

Ride With Confidence. Compete With Clarity.

You've put in the hours. You know your horse. But sometimes, despite everything, confidence disappears — and you're not sure why.

Equestrian mindset coaching helps you understand what's happening, manage nerves and rebuild the confidence to ride and compete at your best.

From holding back — to riding forward:

Dreading competitions→Feeling prepared and focused
Overthinking every stride→Trusting yourself and your horse
Avoiding challenges→Embracing them with confidence

Whether you're a leisure rider, a competitor or somewhere in between, your mindset matters as much as your technique.

A Different Kind of Background

I'm Clare, and I've spent over twenty years in the saddle — from local shows to the London International Horse Show and Horse of the Year Show.

I know what it feels like to stand at the in-gate with your heart racing, to question yourself after a difficult round, and to wonder whether you'll ever feel truly confident again.

That experience is at the heart of everything I bring to equestrian mindset coaching. I understand the sport, the pressure and the unique relationship between horse and rider.

The Horse and Rider Connection

Horses are extraordinarily sensitive to our emotional state. When we're anxious, they feel it. When we're calm and confident, they respond differently.

Equestrian mindset coaching works with this connection — helping you understand your own patterns, manage your emotions and communicate more clearly with your horse.

"Your horse already believes in you. Let's help you believe in yourself."

What Horses Taught Me About Coaching

Jazz came into my life at a time when I needed to rediscover my own confidence. Working with him — patiently, consistently, without pressure — reminded me of everything I'd learned about mindset.

That experience shaped the way I work with riders today. Practical, honest, grounded in real experience.

You Know You Can Ride. So Why Does Confidence Sometimes Disappear?

You may have years of riding experience, but suddenly find yourself questioning your ability.

Perhaps you've experienced a fall, had a difficult competition, lost confidence in your horse or simply started worrying about what might go wrong.

You want to feel confident, enjoy your riding and achieve your goals, but those thoughts and feelings can begin to hold you back.

Losing confidence doesn't mean you've lost your ability.

My FREE Equestrian Mindset Roadmap will help you begin to understand what's happening, recognise what triggers your nerves and discover practical steps towards rebuilding your confidence.

Whether your goal is to enjoy hacking again, feel more confident in the saddle or prepare for competition, positive change starts with understanding.
